Go to the project

Spring Street in Struthers, Ohio, has become a high-risk area due to excessive speeding, with vehicles frequently traveling 50–60 mph in a 25 mph zone. Despite existing “Children at Play” signage, residents and particularly children are exposed to dangerous traffic conditions. This proposal requests the installation of multiple speed bumps or speed humps along Spring Street as a traffic calming measure. The goal is to reduce vehicle speeds, enhance pedestrian and child safety, and improve overall neighborhood livability. Implementing these measures will help ensure that drivers adhere to the speed limit and provide a safer environment for residents.
