I like the ideas that envision a revitalization of the downtown. However, there are some industrial enterprises, especially on Sate St leading out of Struthers toward Youngstown, that detract from the appeal of the area. These businesses do not depend on walk-in trade. We have a lot of land in the CASTLO industrial area. I think the city should offer initiatives for these businesses to move into the CASTLO acreage, getting them off the main corridors in and out of the city. This would yield more area for new businesses that are more in line with the new vision for the city, and create a canvas on which the city could create the kinds of spaces and appeal
