Thank you for your idea, Alicia! We are in agreement that Yellow Creek is an incredible park that is in need of an update.
Yellow Creek Park is managed by Mill Creek Metro Parks. When our team spoke with MCMP about updates and trail maintenance last year, we were told that Yellow Creek would move up in priority if the City of Struthers had a plan. We are anticipating updates once this plan is in place.
We will keep you informed throughout the planning process about the status of your idea, and of any updates pertaining to updates at Yellow Creek Park.

I know adding new stuff can be exciting and help bring new people to Struthers, but why not enhance some of the things that are already here? Yellow creek is a great park, that could use some updating, the playground has not been changed in MANYY years, in fact I believe it has been the same since I moved to struthers in 1998. Mauthe has been updated a few times since I have lived in Struthers, I think it's time for yellow creek to be updated a bit as well. Also maybe adding a splash pad for in the summer (somewhere) would be a good idea!

Like your idea, but not sure if that's up to Struthers now ,since it's part of metro park
